Welcome New Baby Basket
Caroline’s Promise, in partnership with the Caroline Social Services and Virginia Cooperative Extension, sponsors the Welcome New Baby Basket Program. This program encourages new parents to learn about baby safety concerns.
New parents are provided Welcome New Baby Baskets filled with baby safety items, which may include cabinet door locks, safe temperature bath ducks, baby medicine dispensers, safety nail clippers, unscented baby wipes and similar items. At the time of basket pick-up, recipients watch a short video about baby safety.
Applications for a baby basket are available at Social Services, the office of Caroline’s Promise and at Virginia Cooperative Extension.
In order to be eligible, at least one parent/guardian and baby must live in Caroline County.
