Campership

PROGRAM GUIDELINES

                 Caroline’s Promise recognizes that individual youth throughout our county are striving to fulfill their physical, spiritual and emotional aspirations through unique opportunities that become available to them both inside our county and beyond.  Therefore, Caroline’s Promise is proud to offer a campership program to sponsor these young people in their individual endeavors.

 

Eligibility:

Youth ages 1^st grade through 12^th grade who live in Caroline County

 

Amount of Grant:

Amounts up to $200 will be considered.

Caroline’s Promise currently awards 5 a year, as funds allow, usually on a first come first serve basis.

 

GUIDELINES:

The camp or opportunity for which funds are requested should strive to fulfill one or more of the following 5 promises:

      #1=Ongoing Relationships With Caring Adults

      #2=Safe Places With Structured Activities during non-school hours

      #3=Healthy Starts and Futures

      #4=Marketable Skills Through Effective Education

      #5=Opportunities to Give Back to the Community

Examples may include: 4-H Camp, any sports camp or team membership including AAU,  girl or boy scout camps, student conferences, summer camps, etc.  Please call with questions.

· Only 2 campership applications per organization, please.

Photos/write-up of successes mailed back to Caroline’s Promise would be appreciated.
